What Basic Colors of Shoes Do You Need to Build Your Wardrobe?
Shoes provide the finishing touch on any outfit. That is why it is important to make sure they match most of your clothing outfits.
To find out what basic colors of shoes you need, you must look at your main wardrobe and pick the top five shades that you see. Of course, you can buy every similar shade that you want, but to save up, you need to invest on good quality pair. This may cost you more but you can be sure that these would be suitable with most of your clothes. If you have only one dress in fuchsia, then you can purchase a less expensive pair for that since you would only wear them twice.
No matter what kinds of clothes your wardrobe has, here are 5 basic colors that every shoe collection should have:
1. Black
Of course black is the most common clothing that most women have in their clothes as well as in their bags. Black simply matches with neutrals and strong hues as well.
2. Beige or Nudes
If you have pastels, this would be the perfect pair if you don’t have the exact shade. It also works with brown and earth tones.
3. White
It goes with reds, blues and summer prints.
4. Brown
It goes with earth tone neutrals, aqua blues, pinks and lime green. If you have jewelry items in these color families, the shoes would look very nice with them.
5. Red
Nothing is as fierce as red shoes. You could pair it with a nautical inspired outfit or with your petite maternity jeans and a t-shirt.
Later you could buy other shades to add to your collection. While your shoes need not match the exact same color as your dress, as some might accuse you of trying too hard, it would not hurt to wear suitable colors for them.
