Shoes for Comfort, Style and Affordability
Both men and women often have a dilemma when it comes to the shoes they wear. Is it possible to wear shoes that look good and are comfortable to wear? And on top of all that, are they affordable? Given the modern technology, research and development, and craftsmanship that goes into shoe design these days, it is very possible (almost mandatory) to combine fashion, comfort, and affordability in a pair of shoes. My wife, for example, is on her feet all day since she is an elementary school teacher. On the other hand, when she is not walking around the classroom, she likes a nice pair of high heel shoes for dinner on the weekend.
And although she enjoys style as much as the next women, she knows that her feet will not last unless she has a comfortable pair of shoes. But to her credit, she is able to wear a stylish pair of shoes that are comfortable and that don’t break the bank. But if you want to have all three (style, comfort, and affordability) you will have to do your homework and be patient.
My wife is relatively economical in her choice of shoes. However, she is not willing to buy the cheapest pair of shoes if she has to sacrifice comfort. With that being said, she will do her homework, look for sales, and even wait for those online coupons to get a good pair of shoes for a discounted price. My wife has an interesting yet practical way of buying shoes. Given that she has her favorite brands, it is a matter of finding those brands at the right price and the right fit. The first thing she does is go to the store to try on the shoes. Next, she goes online to see if there are any good deals in terms of price and shipping. If she finds a good deal online with free shipping, she will buy the shoes on the spot. But if she finds a better deal in the store, she will go back and make the purchase. Some of her favorite online stores are Piperline, Gap, Zappos, Clarks, UGG, Walking Company, and Lands End. Remember, you don’t have to sacrifice price for comfort. And if you are patient, you can get a real classy pair of high heel shoes or even a comfortable pair of sandals at a discounted price.
