3 Tips for Buying Womens Snake Boots

While there might not be as many types of womens hunting snake boots as there are for the guys, they remain an important part of outdoor life in some parts of the country.  If you are an outdoors kind of gal, you are going to need a good pair of snake boots which will protect your feet from corns, sunburn, becoming overheated, and snake bites.  This article provides 3 helpful tips for buying womens snake boots that offer protection against bites while also sometimes offering style without sacrificing safety.

The first tip when buying women’s snake proof boots is to buy fake leather. Real leather can make your feet to hot and if a snake tries to bite your ankle or foot, their fangs do have a chance of penetrating real leather. Fake leather goes through several stretching treatments which makes it more tough and scarred. It is the toughness of the fake leather which makes it nearly impossible for a snake fangs to penetrate the snake boot. When fake leather is scarred, it makes the snake boot last a long time. The more a boot is scarred, the more difficult for a snake’s, if bitten, poison to enter your body through your feet.

The second tip when buying women’s snake boots is to consider style.  While there are big rubber snake boots designed for hunting or outdoor work, there are also decent snake proof boots that are also designed to be used for more formal social occasions.  While it’s not common, there are those styles that can function as both an outdoor and a dress boot.

The third tip when buying women’s snake boots is to buy boots that lined their leg. Women, don’t buy snake boots that leave any space between your leg and the boot. If you can put part of your hand inside of the boot, after you put them on, don’ t buy them. Besides, keeping insects from biting your leg, feet and ankle, a lined boot will keep out snakes who may try to crawl inside of your snake hunting boot.

Great article! As i do not live anywhere where we meet snakes on a regular basis, I was fascinated that there are boots just for this purpose!
